Baue Selbst Construction Sets

Baue Selbst was a simple construction system. There appears to have been three sets, each to make a single model. It was made in Germany in probably the mid to late 1940s.

Made from steel of different sheet thicknesses. The screws and threaded rods are M4. The central screw is M6. Hole spacing varies.

Comments
The lid of the #1 set seen has a boy with a Crane in a dockside scene perhaps including other models. Strips, Pulleys, etc, with special Plates etc for (a?) Crane(s), & maybe other models. No other details. *¹ Maybe post-war (1945-1950). *² Also 6mm.
